Green Cards now in green color

Recently, the USCIS started issuing permanent resident cards packed with enhanced security features to prevent immigration fraud, counterfeiting, or tampering.  It is expected to facilitate quick and accurate authentication at the ports of entry.  Because of its popular nickname “green card”, the USCIS has decided to issue these new version of the cards in green color.
