Nonimmigrant Visa Fees to Increase June 4

The U.S. Department of State published an interim final rule which increases the nonimmigrant visa application fees for certain visa categories effective June 4, 2010.  Under the new rule, the visa application fee is not the same for all visa categories.  Here is a schedule of revised fees:

Visa Category Fee
B-1/B-2 $140.00
F-1 $140.00
J-1 $140.00
M-1 $140.00
H-1B $150.00
L-1 $150.00
O, P, Q, R Visas $150.00
K $350.00
E-1/E-2 $390.00
